Utility Locating – Direct Connect & Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
Island Utility provides accurate underground utility locating using Direct Connect, RF tracing, and GPR technology. We identify buried cables, pipes, conduits, and utilities before excavation to prevent strikes and ensure safe, compliant construction.
Directional Drilling – Up to 300mm Diameter
Our HDD crews install telecom, fibre, water, and power conduits using trenchless drilling methods up to 300mm diameter. We complete road, boulevard, and property crossings safely and efficiently, delivering clean installations with minimal surface disturbance.
Hydrovac Excavation
We perform non-destructive hydrovac excavation for daylighting utilities, soft-dig trenching, and exposure around sensitive infrastructure. This method eliminates the risk of utility strikes and allows for precise, clean excavation in tight or high-risk areas.
